Character Concept Artist

I enjoy designing stylised characters with strong shapes and expressive personalities. This artwork shows the kind of style and visual storytelling I bring to my character design process.

Thomas Claude Dumont

Thomas Claude Dumont. A name that is synonymous with danger and daring. Thomas is a famed aeronaut that pilots his beloved hot air balloon ‘Darla’. Coming from wealth and nobility, Thomas had everything he could ever want. But he was left unfulfilled with upper class life as his aspirations lied within the clouds. He always enjoyed flying his kite as a child and with the recent invention of hot air balloons, he commissioned one for himself.

He persuaded his father to invest in him by presenting a profitable business venture. His plan was to travel to faraway lands, inaccessible by other merchants and return with exotic goods. And with that, he was off! Thomas travelled from place to place, bringing home unusual wares to his eager customers.

Kuno

Kuno is a young boy who tumbles into a world that isn’t quite his own, a place stitched together with mystery and magic. With zero direction and no real sense of how he arrived, he wanders through this strange land and soon crosses paths with an assortment of curious characters, each more unexpected than the last. Through shared adventures and the occasional mischief, they all form an unlikely bond and come together as the Kindred Chorus; a small, mismatched family bound by wonder, courage, and the secrets that lay beyond.

Ben!

Hello, my name is Benjamin. I’m a 3D artist currently studying Game Arts & Design at the University of Plymouth. I’m passionate about creating expressive and visually engaging work. I approach every project with a focus on craft, clarity, and continuous improvement. Whether I’m building environments, modelling assets, or experimenting with new techniques, I’m always pushing myself to learn, refine, and deliver work I’m proud of.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy drawing and sketching, which often feeds back into my digital work. I also love playing music (especially my keytar) which gives me another creative outlet and keeps me inspired. Creativity has always been a big part of who I am, and I try to bring that same energy into everything I make.
